Service & Support EuroSort Systems

Even with the best components available, the lifespan of modern mechanical and electronic parts is limited. No matter how well-built a machine is, wear and tear is unavoidable. That is why all machines require regular service and maintenance to keep running efficiently.

Automated sorters are designed to operate with minimal downtime. Some systems run 24/7, while others operate eight hours a day, depending on the customer’s requirements. There are sorters on the market that have been operating successfully for more than 18 years, all thanks to proper maintenance.

EuroSort provides professional service and support at various levels to ensure your sorter remains in optimal condition.

What Service Do You Need?

The day-to-day service required is almost non-existent. During the commissioning of a sorter, we provide operators and technical staff with a practical “How to…?” troubleshooting training. This training gives them the basic knowledge — and much more — needed to perform minor repairs and routine maintenance independently.

Even replacing a carrier can easily be done by your own operators.

“Health Check”

EuroSort offers an annual “Health Check” service. During this inspection, your sorter receives a thorough examination and complete maintenance service covering software, electronics, and mechanical components.

All parts that have reached their end-of-life status will be replaced, and any necessary repairs or updates will be carried out. For you, this guarantees that your sorter remains in the best possible condition. For us, it helps prevent unforeseen defects that could otherwise have been avoided.

For the annual total “Health Check” and maintenance service, our Service Planner will contact you six to eight weeks in advance. This allows both parties to make the necessary preparations.

The Health Check is essential to ensure your sorter remains in top condition. It is also a requirement for access to our priority Hotline support service in case of emergencies. Sorters that do not receive regular maintenance are not eligible for our subscription-based emergency Hotline service.

New or Refurbished?

If you are considering replacing your existing sorter, EuroSort can also offer refurbishment as an alternative solution.

In many cases, refurbishment allows your sorter to perform like new again at a competitive price level. It also saves considerable time. Downtime is unavoidable regardless of the option you choose, but refurbishment generally takes far less time than a complete replacement.

Another advantage is that your operators can continue working with a familiar system, without the need for extensive retraining or adjustment to a completely new sorter.
