Effective January 1, 2025, Rens Gehling has been appointed as Commercial Director, succeeding Edwin van Kempen. Gehling will assume ultimate responsibility for the company\u2019s commercial policy, as well as its marketing and sales efforts. He joins EuroSort from Bowe Intralogistics, where he served as Managing Director.<\/p>\n<p>Gehling\u2019s arrival creates more opportunities for Edwin van Kempen, who will focus on key accounts and long-term strategy for both EuroSort and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.distrisort.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DistriSort<\/a> from the Netherlands. Van Kempen will remain Managing Director of DistriSort.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuroSort is a company that continuously proves itself with innovative solutions that make a significant contribution to improving the logistical processes of our customers. That entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation are what appeal to me most about this company, and I am eager to contribute to it. My strength lies in connecting people, blending technology with sound commercial policies. At EuroSort, I have the freedom to focus fully on these areas,\u201d says Gehling.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Van Kempen states:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuroSort has its headquarters in \u2019s-Graveland, which includes R&amp;D, production, marketing, and sales, as well as branches in Spain and the US. The Spanish branch is responsible for Southern Europe and South America. In these emerging markets, we have established a strong foothold in sectors such as fashion, e-commerce, post &amp; parcel, 3PL, and pharmaceutical logistics. There\u2019s every reason to accelerate our efforts here and to increase our focus on service activities. This is the main reason why I confidently hand over my responsibilities at EuroSort bv to the capable hands of Rens Gehling.
