Ringsorter

The EuroSort ring sorter is designed for customers who have limited space and don’t need a large number of exits to satisfy their sortation needs. The ring sorter is ideal for applications such as library returns, order fulfillment, kitting and zip code sorting to name a few. The ring sorter utilizes the same patented EuroSort tray as the EuroSort flat sorter (also known as a Bomb-bay sorter). Each carrier has a unique advantage in sorting and handling which is explained below.

The EuroSort ring sorter was designed for customers who have limited space and don’t need a large number of exits to satisfy their sortation needs. The ring sorter is ideal for applications such as library returns, order fulfillment, kitting and zip code sorting to name a few. 

The ring sorter utilizes the same patented EuroSort tray as the EuroSort flat sorter (also known as a Bomb-bay sorter) and is used to sort items such as: garments, books, pharmaceuticals, small parcels, flats, mixed mail, multi-media, jewelry, accessories and more. 

EuroSort’s unique tray cavity also makes it suitable to sort products that are difficult to handle (Their shape is not fixed / round / unpacked /non-conveyable etc) that might not normally be considered for traditional sortation. 

High level operation of sorter
Items to be sorted  on a ring sorter are inducted onto a EuroSort tray by an automatic induction system.  The product in a ringsorter is mostly books so they will drop flat out of the carrier into the destination which can be a: carton, tote, mail sack, library cart, Gaylord container or into an engineered packing chute.
